Planet Arkadia: Military Sci-Fi and Treasure Hunting

Planet Arkadia, developed by Arkadia Studio, is a military science fiction world with one of the most creative and unique mechanics in all of Entropia Universe — a structured treasure hunting system where players genuinely hunt for buried treasure using in-game clues and maps.

The Setting

Arkadia's lore centers on a planet with a rich history of a vanished civilization, the Oratan. The planet is now being settled by humans while conflict with the surviving Oratan continues. The aesthetic is military sci-fi — think fortified outposts, desert terrain, and heavy combat zones.

Treasure Hunting

The standout feature of Arkadia is the Arkadia Underground and the treasure hunting system. Players use Treasure Maps dropped by creatures to locate buried chests underground. These chests can contain everything from resources to rare items. The underground is also a significant hunting and mining location in its own right.

IFN Challenges

Arkadia features the IFN Challenge system — a series of hunting missions that reward progressively better loot and skill gains as you reach kill count milestones for specific creatures. These challenges are popular for efficient skill and PED farming and are one of Arkadia's defining features compared to other planets.

Creatures

Arkadia has a broad roster of unique creatures including the aggressive Oratan (various types), Carabok, Riptor, Kamaldon, and many more. Most are found nowhere else in Entropia and drop Arkadia-specific loot used in local crafting.

Getting There

Arkadia is accessible via space travel. The Arkadia Moon is a separate location in the same system, offering its own content. Arkadia Studio is active in the community and regularly updates the planet with new content and events.
